Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Start2Finish ("we", "us"), the provider of the Confetti phone book app, handles personal data. Start2Finish is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at support@start2finish.app.

Personal data we collect

• Account and contact data — the email address and name you give us when you buy a plan or contact support.
• Support messages — the content of emails or forms you send us.
• Usage and device data — basic technical data such as browser type, device type, approximate location from IP address, and pages viewed.
• Security data — your Confetti PIN is stored on your own device in hashed form; we never receive it.

Your contact lists, call log entries, themes and roundup history are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or read them.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

• Creating and managing your plan and access to the app — performance of our contract.
• Providing customer support and answering your questions — performance of our contract.
• Preventing fraud, abuse and security incidents — our legitimate interests.
• Improving and troubleshooting the product — our legitimate interests.
• Sending marketing messages, where you have opted in — your consent.
• Meeting accounting, tax and other legal duties — legal obligation.

Who we share data with

• Merchant of Record — Paddle.com Market Ltd acts as reseller and Merchant of Record for all Confetti orders, handling the sale, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing and billing support.
• Service providers — hosting, error monitoring, analytics and support tooling providers acting on our instructions.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where needed.
• Authorities — where we are required to disclose data by law.

We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep account and support data for as long as you have a plan with us and then for as long as needed to meet legal, tax and accounting duties, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Data stored on your device stays there until you delete it or clear the app.

International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside your country, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, provide it in a portable format, or withdraw consent you previously gave. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Email support@start2finish.app and we will respond within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect personal data. No system is completely secure, so please keep your device and PIN protected.

Cookies

Confetti uses essential storage on your device to keep you signed in, remember your theme and hold your contact data. We do not use advertising cookies. Where analytics cookies are used, you can manage them through your browser settings.

Changes

We will post any changes to this notice on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be highlighted to customers by email where appropriate.
